Sreerupa Chowdhury is an entrepreneur, lawyer and social innovator. In her early 20s, she founded Lawfarm, an online aggregator of legal services and service providers, in response to the pressing need for access to quality, transparent and affordable legal services. In 2016, Lawfarm was acqui-hired by the VC firm Sugar Ventures, Singapore, which she presently runs as India CEO.

Lawfarm is soon planning to bring legal contracts to the blockchain, for which it will have an ICO. Sreerupa is keenly interested in blockchain developments, legal issues pertaining to the technology and bringing blockchain to the legal industry. She is speaking on "Blockchain, AI and the Future of IOT" at Starup Summit, by Ah! Ventures in January 2018 at New Delhi.

Sreerupa also founded the award-winning Bribehackers initiative, which is India's first anti-bribery legal helpline.

Last month, Sreerupa was featured in the list of India's top 42 millennial changemakers on India Today's 42nd Anniversary Issue . She has received prestigious recognition for entrepreneurship globally such as - Dell Social Innovation Challenge (Texas), World Justice Project (Washington DC), Westerwelle Foundation Young Founder (Berlin), etc. She has been the youngest speaker at the biggest rule of law conference in the world – World Justice Forum, Hague (2017) and was the youngest India delegate at the International Anti-Corruption Conference, Brasilia (2012).

Sreerupa has been featured in leading media such as BBC, India Today, Fastcompany, The Hindu, Economic Times, DNA, Hindustan Times, The Telegraph, Bar and Bench, LegallyIndia, Nextbigwhat, Asian Legal Business, etc.

Having led the only legal-tech startup in India with a woman founder, and one of the miniscule women led startups to receive VC funding, Sreerupa's mission is to build transformative solutions through innovation and technology.
